NOTE- To combine any solid ingredients mentioned below (e.g. butters), gentle heating is required to melt the ingredients so they can be combined.
Whipped Face and Body Butter (Vegan): Blend Unrefined Shea butter with your favourite carrier oil (some great carrier oils you might like to try are Jojoba oil, Avocado Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Rosehip Oil and Grapeseed Oil) and a few drops of an essential oil of your choice (such as lavender essential Oil). Whip until fluffy. Creates a rich, fast‑absorbing moisturiser for dry skin. Tip- You can mix the ingredients without melting, however it will just take more effort to whip the ingredients together. Alternatively, can gently melt the Shea Butter, add the carrier oil and mix well. Add the essential oil. Allow it to cool. When almost set whip until fluffy. To create a balm you can skip the whipping step.
Shea Butter and Tallow Whipped Face and Body Butter: Blend Unrefined Shea Butter with Beef Tallow. Add Jojoba Oil (or another carrier oil of your choice). Add a few drops of an essential oil of your choice (optional). Whip until fluffy. Creates a rich, fast‑absorbing moisturiser for dry skin. Tip- You can mix the ingredients without melting, however it will just take more effort to whip the ingredients together. Alternatively, you can gently melt the Shea Butter and Tallow and mix well. Allow it to cool. When almost set whip until fluffy. To create a balm you can skip the whipping step.
Nourishing Lip Balm: Melt shea butter with beeswax and almond oil, then pour into small tins. Hydrates and protects lips with a natural barrier.
Soothing Heel Balm: Mix shea butter, apricot kernel oil, and lavender oil. Apply generously to cracked heels or dry hands before bed. Overnight repair treatment.
Gentle Face Moisturiser: Combine Shea butter with Jojoba oil and Vitamin E. A lightweight cream that softens skin and helps reduce fine lines.
Exfoliating Body Scrub: Blend Shea butter with sugar and a touch of honey. Buffs away dead skin while leaving a silky finish.
