Tallow Lips is a unique product made from 100% Natural ingredients. This nutrient rich and gentle balm, hydrates and provides a natural and long lasting barrier. Combining the moisturising properties of Tallow and Jojoba Oil with the protective and soothing benefits of Lanolin, Cacao Butter and Beeswax soothes and protects the lips, giving them a subtle shine and keeping them soft and subtle throughout the day. Tallow Lips is easily absorbed and provides rich moisture to dry lips. It provides a protective barrier to protect the lips and hold in moisture. This variation of Tallow Lips has the addition of Pineapple and Island Coconut Natural Flavour oils to transport you to a tropical paradise.

Both Tallow and Lanolin are 100% pure natural animal-derived fats. Beeswax is a natural wax that is secreted by bees to build their honeycombs. Jojoba Oil and Cacao Butter are plant-based natural products. Please note that due to the Tallow, Lanolin and Beeswax, this product is not suitable for vegetarians.

100% Grass Fed and Finished Tallow is a deeply moisturising, nutrient-rich fat sourced from Australian grass-fed cattle. It is gentle and incredibly rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, and essential fatty acids. It is the perfect moisturiser to soothe and soften skin.

Tallow is a by-product of the food industry and it’s use in skincare honours the entire animal and contributes to responsible and sustainable practices. Tallow nourishes, protects and pampers your hair and skin. Tallow is beef fat that has been rendered to remove all of its impurities. Tallow is an age old natural beauty secret that has been used in beauty regimens since ancient times. The natural composition of Tallow makes it a highly beneficial moisturising natural skincare ingredient.

100% Pure Australian Lanolin Anhydrous USP

100% Pure Australian Lanolin Anhydrous USP is a cosmetic grade of Lanolin Anhydrous. It is an extremely effective emollient for restoring and maintaining the moisture balance of the skin.

Lanolin, also known as wool fat, is a natural secretion from a sheep’s skin. It keeps their skin and wool conditioned and water resistant. It is similar to human sebum. Sebum is the natural, oily substance produced by the sebaceous glands in your skin. It forms a protective barrier that helps keep your skin moisturised and prevents water loss.

Lanolin deeply and intensely hydrates by forming an oil barrier that traps and maintains moisture within the skin.   Lanolin is an excellent emollient and is reported to reduce the skin's water loss by as much as 20-30%. Dry, rough, scaly or itchy skin may be banished for good!

Organic Jojoba Oil

Organic Jojoba Oil  closely resembles human sebum and contains a rich content of vitamins B and E, antioxidants and essential fatty acids, making it an ideal natural skin moisturiser.  It is easily absorbed by the skin, softening it and providing deep moisture, leaving it feeling smooth and silky. It helps to promote natural healing and regeneration by supplementing the skin’s own natural esters. 

Organic Jojoba oil provides several benefits for lip care. This includes deep hydration, protection from moisture loss, and the ability to soothe dry or chapped lips. The waxy texture helps form a protective barrier, which locks in moisture and leaving lips feeling soft and smooth. Because Jojoba oil's molecular structure is similar to human sebum, it is readily absorbed and provides effective hydration. Jojoba Oil is a perfect natural ingredient in lip balm.

Organic Cacao Butter

Organic Cacao Butter, also known as Cocoa Butter, is a pure and stable vegetable fat that is extracted from cacao beans. Packed with antioxidants, essential fatty acids, vitamins E & K, stearic acid, palmitic acid and linoleic acid, Organic Cacao Butter is a must have in a quality natural lip balm. With a gorgeous cacao aroma, Cacao Butter truly is a sweet beauty treat. 

Cocoa butter has also been promoted to heal rashes from conditions like eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. It is commonly used to smooth scars, wrinkles and stretch marks. So don’t be shy with using this balm on any areas of skin that may benefit from this.

The fat in Organic Cacao butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture. Organic Cacao Butter boasts nourishing, healing and moisturising properties, making it the perfect addition to lip balms. If you have dry and chapped lips, this ingredient will not only improve hydration, it will form a protective barrier to help hold in the moisture for long lasting smooth and nourished lips that look and feel amazing.

Organic Beeswax

Beeswax is a wondrous natural substance secreted by worker honey bees from four pairs of glands on the underside of their abdomens. The bees use this wax for the construction of honeycomb. This heavenly natural product has a heavenly sweet honey scent and can help the skin to attract and retain moisture. 

Organic Beeswax is a wax that forms a protective barrier on the surface of the lips, consequently sealing in moisture and promoting hydration. This natural barrier also protects our lips from the harsh elements such as the wind, heat and environmental irritants.

Beeswax is rich in vitamin A which supports skin regeneration and helps to repair and rejuvenate damaged lips. It also has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties beneficial for soothing cracked lips and reducing irritation.

If you are allergic to wool you should avoid this product as Lanolin is not recommended if you have a wool allergy. 

While generally safe, some people can be allergic to lanolin, leading to skin reactions like redness, itching, and rashes.

While rare, some individuals can experience allergic reactions to Beeswax or Cacao Butter. 

If you have sensitive skin or known allergies to bee products (like honey or propolis), you may experience irritation when using products containing beeswax.

Patch testing is recommended to assess potential allergies before using this product. 

Before using a new skincare product it is recommended that you perform a patch test prior to use. Apply a small amount of the product to a small area of your skin and wait for 24 to 48 hours to check for any adverse reactions. If you experience itching, redness, or other allergy symptoms, avoid using the product and consult with your doctor.

During warm weather, products may soften or melt as they sit in warm mail trucks, mailboxes, or on front porches. Please keep this in mind if your purchase this product during the warmer months. The quality and beneficial properties of our products are not affected by melting.

We do not use synthetic additives in our natural products, therefore they may be sensitive to temperature changes.

While shipping during warm weather seasons presents a real challenge to our natural skin care company, we accept the challenge in order to maintain our standard of natural and nourishing skin care. We hope you agree.

On very sunny or warm days, it is recommended that BEFORE you open the product that you place the items in your refrigerator for a few hours to allow them to harden, just in case they have melted or softened in transit. If you open items, especially those in tins and jars, to check if melting has occurred, they may spill and make a mess!

Sometimes a natural products can melt during warm transit and then slowly re-solidify before you receive it. This melting and slow cooling can result in a grainy feeling. If your product feels grainy, you may like to melt it, mix thoroughly, and place it in the refrigerator until solid. The grainy texture does not affect the product in any way. Another solution is to simply warm the product between your hands for a few seconds before application.
