This premium Tallow is sourced from grass fed and finished cows pasture raised on Australian regenerative farms. The cows are raised naturally without the use of hormones, chemical or Bovaer. We work with suppliers who prioritise sustainable farming practices as well as animal welfare.

This is a Food Grade cooking fat and has a rich buttery finish, perfect for cooking, frying and baking.  Tallow is a cooking fat that has been used for centuries. Beef Tallow is made from the fat of cows and is commonly used in traditional cooking methods. Tallow has a high smoke point so it's perfect for cooking steak, deep frying or any type of cooking requiring high heat. Tallow has a rich history and has been used in many different cultures throughout the world. It is also a popular skincare and haircare ingredient.

COOKING:

This is a time-honoured cooking fat. Used for frying and baking. Can replace most cooking oils. The flavour ranges from buttery to beefy depending on environmental and seasonal factors.

NATURAL HAIR & BEAUTY:

This pure, nourishing, nutrient dense fat is also perfect for cosmetic applications for face, body and hair. STORAGE

Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Store in the fridge after opening to ensure freshness. Use a clean dry spoon.

PLEASE NOTE: 

As Tallow is a 100% natural product, it can vary depending on the season and region the fat is sourced. This means the texture, appearance, consistency and scent can vary depending on various factors such as the season and region where the fat was sourced. In some cases the tallow process can create a more oily tallow, which is a result of the different melting temperatures of the various kinds and amounts of different fatty acids in the tallow. Other times the tallow can be more homogenous and a firmer texture.  Sometimes the tallow may smell more beefy, other times it may be more mild. Occasionally tallow can have a "beefy" scent, which results from a higher amount of meat naturally attached to the fat during rendering.  The colour can vary due to on the natural differences in the fat, depending on factors such as the animal's diet and the natural environment. Please always keep in mind if you are buying a 100% natural product such as 100% pure tallow, there is always going to be some seasonal variation. These variations are expected due to the natural origins of our tallow and should not be seen as a defect. Please note that we do not offer refunds for these natural differences as they are to be expected.
