HOW TO USE:

Blue Tansy Tallow balm is designed to be used as a moisturiser for the face, neck and décolletage.

A little goes a long way. With clean dry hands, take a small amount of balm and gently warm it between your fingers. Massage into the face, neck and décolletage for deep and lasting hydration. Can be applied AM and/or PM. This product makes an incredible night time treatment balm due to the calming soothing properties of Blue Tansy and German Chamomile essential oil. Experience the perfect beauty sleep. Wake up refreshed and with glowing skin!

Allow the product time to absorb before applying makeup (if applicable). If you use other products such as toners and balms, let the balm be the final step to seal in the goodness.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS:

1.      Cleanse and prep the skin:

Cleanse your face, neck and décolletage with your usual cleanser.  Gently pat dry or leave the skin slightly damp.

2.      Warm the balm:

With clean dry hands or a small spoon or spatula, Take a small amount of Blue Moon Tansy Tallow balm and warm it between your fingers or palms until it softens.

3.      Apply to the skin:

Gently massage the softened balm into your skin. Focus on the areas that are in need of extra moisture, dry patches or areas prone to irritation.

4.      Allow the product to absorb:

Allow the balm to fully absorb into your skin before getting dressed, lying down (if applied before bed) or applying makeup (if applicable).

5.      Frequency:

This product can be used daily (AM and/or PM) or as needed for its moisturising and soothing benefits.

If you have sensitive skin, skin conditions or allergies, it's always a good idea to patch test a small area of skin and waiting 24hrs to ensure no irritations occur before applying the balm to your entire face or body.

General Essential Oils Safety Considerations and Warnings:

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have skin conditions or allergies, have underlying health conditions, or are taking medications, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before using essential oils or products containing essential oils. A patch test should always be performed prior to using on a larger area of skin. Avoid direct contact with eyes or near eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Considerations when using 100% natural products:

Use clean dry hands or a clean scoop or spoon to avoid contaminating your product. Please keep in mind that no preservatives have been added,  so please take care to store and use it correctly to maximise shelf life. The shelf life after opening is generally 12 months.

Tallow will solidify in cooler temperatures and may melt in warm weather. This will not effect the product. If the product becomes more solid when cooler, simply warm a little in your hand before applying. If the product becomes too soft if very hot, you may re-solidify it in the fridge.  Due to the natural and organic nature of our ingredients, variations in appearance and texture may occur between batches as a result of seasonal and temperature changes. Rest assured, these differences are normal and do not affect the performance or effectiveness of our products in any way. If the product becomes slightly ‘grainy’ if it has been through temperature changes, this will have no impact on the effectiveness of the product. This is not likely, however this is just to advice and be transparent about the nature of 100% natural Tallow based products. If the graininess bothers you, simply warm the product in your hands before applying to your skin. It will quickly melt with your body heat and leave your skin feeling and looking nourished and radiant.
