Cocoa Butter can sometimes refer to a more processed, high-temperature product that may be refined or deodorised. Therefore the difference can be tied to temperature processing. Many manufacturers do not make this distinction and sometimes Cocoa Butter can be virgin and processed at a lower temperature and identical in goodness to Cacao Butter. HOW IS CACAO BUTTER MADE?
This luxurious butter is made from the cacao bean, also known as Theobroma oil. Cacao Butter is made by cold pressing the raw cacao beans (in this case 100% Organic Cacao beans) to extract the oil while preserving the rich nutrients. Cacao Butter is a healthy saturated fat and has no sugar or salt. This ultra smooth butter is used for both cooking and as a natural moisturiser.
HOW TO USE:
Gently melt the Cacao Butter using a low heat. It can then be used to make homemade chocolate creations, desserts or dairy-free treats. Cacao butter is also a great ingredient to add to DIY beauty treatments for a natural moisturising effect.
Cacao Butter melts at around 35C and can be used in so many different ways. An integral part of making homemade chocolate that will actually set, and great to include in raw desserts of all kinds, cakes, balls, bars, tarts, etc. It is perfect for making dairy free & vegan chocolate with a rich creamy texture.
Raw Cacao Butter can also be used as a body butter, as it’s a great natural (and delicious) moisturiser for the whole family. You can even use Cacao butter as treatment for sunburn, dry chapped lips, scar tissue and stretch marks.
Good to know: This product comes in convenient easy to use chunks/ small pieces. This may vary from batch to batch.
