SUGGESTED USE:

SKIN

Apply directly: Apply a few drops directly to skin as required. Can be used on the face and/or body.

Can be used to for deep hydration, to support skin elasticity, to combat dryness, wrinkles, aging and as a spot treatment.

Apply twice daily for best results.

Mixed with other skincare products: Mix with your favourite moisturiser or skincare product to nourish the skin and to help to fight fine lines, wrinkles, acne and other skin concerns.

HEALING: Use daily to heal skin damage such as sunburn, burns, blemishes, eczema, dermatitis and other skin and scalp conditions.

HAIR

HAIR: Rub a few drops of the oil into your palms and then apply directly to the hair, focusing on the ends. Perfect for adding shine and protection to the hair.

For a leave-in treatment, apply a small amount to damp or dry ends to moisturise, tame frizz, add a glossy finish, and prevent split ends without weighing down your hair.

Perfect for dry and damaged hair, locking in moisture, adding shine, increasing vitality and strength and preventing split ends. Can be left in to smooth flyaways and add shine. This oil is perfect for everyday styling.

Alternatively apply the oil more generously as an overnight or pre-shampoo treatment or as a hair mask as described below.

HAIR GROWTH & SCALP HEALTH

Massage a few drops into your scalp to stimulate the follicles, hydrate the scalp and promote healthy hair growth. Can be left in, or used as an overnight or pre-shampoo treatment by simply massaging the oil into the scalp before washing the hair to strengthen and promote healthy hair growth. Use 1-2 times a week to support scalp health, nourish the hair, and promote healthy hair growth.

To use sea buckthorn oil for hair growth, you can apply a few drops directly to the scalp and massage it in for a stimulating treatment, or mix it with your conditioner or hair mask for added nourishment. You can also use it as a pre-wash treatment or an overnight hair mask on its own or by combining it with another carrier oil.

SCALP AND FOLLICLE STIMULATION- Steps

Massage into Scalp: Apply the oil to your scalp and massage it in using circular motions. This helps to stimulate blood circulation, which can encourage hair follicle health and growth.

Leave On: Leave the oil on your scalp for a few hours or even overnight.

Wash Hair: Rinse the oil out thoroughly with lukewarm water and shampoo and condition as usual.

PRE-SHAMPOO OR OVERNIGHT OIL TREATMENT FOR SCALP AND/OR LENGTHS OF THE HAIR

Sea Buckthorn Oil can be used as an effective treatment for hair and scalp health. Here are some directions for using it as a pre-shampoo or overnight oil treatment:

Warm the oil: Gently warm a few drops of sea buckthorn oil in your palms.

Massage into the hair and/or scalp: Apply the oil to your scalp and massage it in using circular motions. This helps to stimulate blood circulation, which can encourage hair follicle health and growth. If you also wish to treat the lengths or your hair, distribute the oil throughout the hair evenly, focusing on the mid lengths to ends.

Leave On: Leave the oil on your scalp for a few hours or even overnight for deeper conditioning. Or you can cover your hair with a shower cap or warm towel and leave on for 20-30 minutes.

Wash Hair: Rinse the oil out thoroughly with lukewarm water and shampoo and condition as usual.

Using Sea buckthorn oil in these ways can help to stimulate hair growth, hydrate the scalp, and promote healthy hair growth. Using it on the lengths of the hair adds moisture and increases the strength and quality of the hair.  It can also be mixed with your conditioner or hair mask for added nourishment (please see below).

HAIR MASK

Mix a few drops of Sea buckthorn oil into your favourite hair mask, conditioner or carrier oil.  Apply the mixture to damp hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends.

Cover your hair with a shower cap or warm towel, and leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes or overnight for deeper conditioning.

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

STORAGE: Store in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight.

TIPS FOR USE AND IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS

Please note: No additives or preservatives are added to this oil, keeping it 100% Pure and Natural. With natural oils, characteristics may naturally vary slightly between batches. Variations can exist due to the time of year that the harvesting and pressing takes place as well as the weather the plants grew in.

Staining:

The oil is naturally orange and can stain skin, hair and fabrics. Mixing it with other oils or products can help prevent this.

To prevent staining you may wish to dilute it with a carrier oil like coconut or almond oil, especially if you plan to use it as a scalp treatment. Dilute if needed.

WARNING:

Patch test before first use. Sea Buckthorn Oil is generally safe to use, however, as with any new product it is still important to perform a patch test as a precaution, especially if it is your first time using it. Everyone’s skin is unique and it is important to perform a patch test on a small area of skin and wait 24/48 hours to ensure there are no allergies or irritations, especially if you have sensitive skin.
