This bottle of tart cherry juice concentrate is made from over 1,000 cold-pressed Montmorency cherries. They contain powerful antioxidants called anthocyanins – which provide the distinctive red colour and may hold the key to the benefits locked inside. Studies suggest that these disease fighting pigments possess antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and anti-carcinogenic properties (Blando 2004).
